Handbags & Gladrags

Aloha!

So West Quay shopping centre, Southampton, teamed up with Storm Model Management and Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity to help flaunt this seasons new trends and help raise money for people suffering from life-limiting cancer. I was fortunate enough to be asked to model in the fashion show and it felt really good knowing that it was all for a good cause. The day was really successful in raising over £900 to help those who really need it and it was also a lot of fun!

Up and rising boy band, Concept, also made an appearance to perform in West Quay, drawing in the attention of girls all over the shopping centre! (I'm sure they loved it) but really, they were very talented, you should check out their twitter and give them a listen. https://twitter.com/ConceptOfficial

I had 1940's inspired hair and make-up and modeled outfits from Next, Marks & Spencers and also some accessories from Accessorize. There is a video and some professional photo's that were taken, which I'll upload as soon as I see them but until then here's a sneak peak at one of my outfits.

Coat- Next £70
Blouse- Next- £18
2 tone jeans- Next- £28
Boots- New Look- £25
Hat/ Necklace- Accessorize- (unknown sorry!)

I absolutley love this outfit, you can't really see but the jeans are lighter on the front than they are at the back, and super comfy! (More like jeggings) The blouse on it's own is pretty plain but with the amazing camel coat and accessories it really works.

On Thursday there will be another fashion show re-launching Sainsbury's TU clothing range, to try and raise more money :)
